The industry-first 2 in 1 removable agitator lets you customize any load to care for your clothes the way you want by easily swapping the agitator post in or out. With two ways to wash, it’s twice the washer you have at home.
Easily prewash clothes and other items right in the washer with a conveniently located faucet that gives you easy access to an instant water stream to remove loose soils.
Save a step by soaking and washing in one cycle. The presoak option starts washing your laundry after a 30 minute presoak.
Help protect fabrics with this stainless steel wash basket that gently circulates clothes during the wash.
Get more water to help break down loose soils. This option lets you customize the water level to various depths so heavily soiled clothes get an optimal clean.
Enjoy a clean, streamlined look with the slow-close, see-through lid that lets you easily check on your load while it’s washing.
Unlock the lid any time simply by pressing the Start/Pause button. The lid automatically locks when the load sensing phase begins, at which point the lid lock icon on the console is illuminated.
Wash more than 2 baskets of clothes in a single load thanks to our washer with a flexible 4.7–4.8 cu. ft. Capacity. Keep the agitator in, or swap to the impeller for the extra room to wash bulky items.
Thanks to the industry-first 2 in 1 removable agitator, you can easily reinsert the agitator whenever you want to switch back from the impeller. Multiple wash motions gently move clothes up, down and side to side throughout the cycle for a thorough clean.
Your small, lightly soiled loads will be clean in as little as 30 minutes with the quick wash cycle.
Easily remove the industry-first 2 in 1 removable agitator when your load needs a little more space to move. Impeller wash action cleans by rubbing the fabrics against each other, while the design of the impeller's surface helps drive clothes from the outer rim to the center, where the deepest cleaning happens.
Ensure dirty loads get the care they need with an extra rinse to wash away any lingering soils or detergent.
Run the affresh® cycle every 30 washes with an affresh® washer cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer.

Good but noisy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer for a couple weeks now. I was in a pinch and would not have purchased this model if others had been available. But with the pandemic shortages, an Immediate solution was required.. This model does not contain 100% stainless steel in the tub. The agitator portion is plastic. The removable agitator is a nice feature thou...
Very Disappointed
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This machine does everything I did NOT want a machine to do. I have the knowledge to balance my own load of clothes and I can do it quicker than this machine. I want ALL the clothes immersed in the water for a wash or rinse cycle-not just half the load. I have yet to see an article of clothing become clean without using water, as your user manua...

Great washer / can wash large loads
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer about one month ago. It's a top loader, which replaced previous front loader. The tub is large and holds lot of clothes. I love the removable agitator which is great when washing large blankets (heavy weighted blanket). It does not have a buzzer or chime when the cycle is completed, nor does it show how much time is remaining on the wash cycle, which my previous washer had which I kind of miss. Overall, I would recommend this washer to others.

Simple but noisy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a simpler machine without a lot of frills. This one is not only simpler, but very noisy from the lock engaging to the end of the cycle. I've only had it two weeks, but it seems to do an adequate job even though the noise is something I'll have to adjust to.

Features that are missing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did the person who designed this washer actually use it? I tried hard to find the right washer for me but until you use a washer you don't know the limitations. No soap dispenser, no Downey dispenser, no just rinse cycle. The machine starts washing before it is even half full of water!!!

Loud!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed washer and dryer, Decided to buy whirlpool instead of Samsung, LG or GE. Very disappointed… It’s extremely loud.

Great value

Easily unbalanced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even following loading instructions, I have found this machine gets unbalanced very easily, especially when washing bedsheets. Then it is maddening to get it to drain and spin and complete the e cycle. I just can’t seem to figure out the trick to washing sheets and towels.

Expected performane
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy so far using it for about 2 mos. now. I am still learning how to use it efficiently for different kind of load.

New Whirlpool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been happy with our new washer, so far so good. Does a good job cleaning, everything nice and fresh. Not as loud as our last washer, that's a plus.

OK -
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not loving that detergent needs to go in before clothes. Also it’s less energy efficient than my 7 year old washer that it replaced? That doesn’t seem right

Still Learning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jeans, socks, bath towels, in a small load seem to leave spots on socks that have not been turned under and into wash water. Clean/Calibration cycle has been done. We are still trying to figure out wash cycles for mixed loads and when/how to activate Deep Water. With variable wash cycle lengths, I wish this model had an end-of-cycle buzzer. Yesterday, two coins got stacked and tightly wedged in the bottom crack between the impeller and drum. It took a serious pliers pull to yank the quarter and serious fishing to extract the remaining now loose dime. We were close to a service call.

New washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this top loading machine. It spins the clothes so well. Good choice.
